Mountain stick WW1

An Italian WW1 mountain Stick for Alpini troops. Similar Alpen Stock used by KuK gebirgs troops and Italian Alpini Troops till ww2.

148 cm lenght, 5 cm for the iron pick.

I have never seen such an item at WI military shows. Any idea how rare they are?
To old to fight and to old to run, a Jar head will just shoot and be done with you.

Thanks for replies and posting photos. It is quite rare. I have in my collection some "strange" items. During the ww2, actually at the beginning of the Second World War, was considered outdated, obsolete.
